Introduction

FinePocket ("we", "us", or "our") operates the WhoSpoke mobile application (the "App"). WhoSpoke records conversations, transcribes them, separates speakers, and translates transcripts — entirely on your device. This Privacy Policy explains how your information is handled when you use the App.

The short version: your recordings and transcripts never leave your iPhone. We operate no servers that receive your data, and the App contains no analytics or advertising SDKs.

Information Processed on Your Device

All of the following is created, processed, and stored locally on your device only:

• Audio recordings you make or audio files you import
• Transcripts generated by Apple's on-device speech recognition
• Speaker-separation results and the speaker names you assign
• Translations generated by Apple's on-device Translation framework
• Titles suggested by on-device Apple Intelligence
• App settings (such as your chosen transcription language)

None of this content is transmitted to us or to any third party. The App requires no account and no login.

Information We Collect

We collect no data. WhoSpoke contains no analytics, crash-reporting, advertising, or tracking SDKs, and its App Store privacy label is "Data Not Collected".

Network Access

The App connects to the internet only to download machine-learning models. These are one-time downloads, and no user content is ever uploaded:

• Speaker-separation model: downloaded from Hugging Face's content delivery network (the open-source FluidAudio model). Standard network metadata (such as your IP address) is visible to the CDN as with any download, in accordance with Hugging Face's Privacy Policy. You can delete this model at any time in the App's settings.
• Speech-recognition and translation language packs: downloaded and managed by iOS from Apple, in accordance with Apple's Privacy Policy.

Permissions

• Microphone: used only to record conversations you explicitly start. Recording is always visibly indicated in the App.
• Speech recognition: used to show live captions and transcribe recordings. Processing happens on-device; audio is not sent to Apple's servers.

Your Responsibility When Recording

Laws on recording conversations vary by region. You are responsible for informing participants and obtaining any consent required in your jurisdiction before recording. The App reminds you of this before every recording.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share any information — we never have it in the first place. Transcripts or audio leave your device only when you explicitly use the App's export or share features, and then only to the destination you choose.

Data Retention and Deletion

• Recordings and transcripts remain on your device until you delete them in the App.
• Deleting a recording removes its audio, transcript, and translation from your device.
• Uninstalling the App removes all app data, including downloaded models.

Children's Privacy

WhoSpoke does not collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the new Privacy Policy on this page and update the "Last Updated" date.
