ShallWeGo Privacy Policy

ShallWeGo · FinePocket

Effective date: October 28, 2026

ShallWeGo ("the app") helps you save places you want to go and find them again when you decide where to go. This policy explains what happens to your information. The app's operator is FinePocket ("we").

In short

1. What stays on your iPhone

Everything you save is first stored in the app's storage on your iPhone. Saving and searching work without iCloud and without a network connection. The app keeps some settings only on the device (for example first-run progress and your weekly reminder choice); these are never synced or sent anywhere.

When you share a link or text to the app from another app, the Share Extension writes it to a file on the same iPhone that only this app can read; the app then saves it to your own places. Nothing is sent anywhere by this step.

2. Your own iCloud (personal sync)

If you are signed in to iCloud, the app copies your own places, visits, photos, go-again choices and saved searches to the private database of your iCloud account, so your other devices signed in to the same Apple Account can show them. This data is stored by Apple under your Apple Account and Apple's terms. We have no access to it.

3. Shared collections

You can create a collection and invite one person through iCloud sharing. Only people you invite can open it; there is no public link.

What the people in a collection can see: the collection's name; the places in it — their name, link and conditions, plus a note, location or main photo only if you chose to include it when copying; and visits you chose to show in the collection (date, note, cleaned-up photos and who added them).

What is never shared: your go-again choices, visits you did not choose to show, your saved searches and anything in your own places that you did not copy.

Ending access. As the owner you can cancel an invitation, remove a person or stop sharing; a participant can leave. These stop further access through iCloud. They cannot take back copies a person has already saved elsewhere or content still shown on a device that is offline. The app shows an action as done only after iCloud confirms it.

Turning off a shown visit. When you stop showing a visit, the app asks iCloud to delete the shown copy and its photos and says "removal pending" until iCloud confirms. Copies others already received may remain.

Stopping sharing does not delete the collection; you keep it. Deleting your data (section 8) is a separate step.

4. Photos

You choose photos with the system photo picker; the app does not get access to your photo library. Before a photo is stored, the app redraws it upright at no more than 1600 pixels on the long edge and saves a new image. The original file's metadata — including location (GPS), camera and date information (EXIF, TIFF, IPTC) — is not copied. A place has at most one main photo and a visit at most three. Only these cleaned-up copies are stored, synced to your iCloud or shared; the original is never sent.

5. Purchases (Pro)

Pro is a one-time, non-consumable purchase. Payment is handled by Apple; we and RevenueCat never receive your payment details.

To confirm and restore Pro, the app uses the RevenueCat SDK by RevenueCat, Inc. (United States), which processes the following on our behalf:

Item Purpose
An anonymous app user ID created by the SDK Linking a purchase to this app installation for confirming and restoring Pro
The identifier for vendor (IDFV) of your device Processing the SDK's requests
Purchase history for this app (App Store transaction, product, purchase and restore results) Confirming Pro

The SDK also sends technical request information: app version and build, iOS version, device model, preferred languages and App Store country. This happens when the app starts (to check Pro status) and when you buy or restore. We do not give RevenueCat your name, email, places or any content, and we do not link these IDs to your iCloud identity. RevenueCat keeps this data according to its own policy (https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy; privacy contact [email protected]). The data is transferred to the United States over encrypted connections. Deleting your data in the app does not delete purchase records held by Apple or RevenueCat; contact us (section 11) to ask about them.

6. What we do not collect

7. Apple services and maps apps

These are governed by Apple's privacy policy.

Directions. Only when you tap Directions and choose a maps app are the place's coordinates and name passed to the maps app you chose: Apple Maps, or, for a place in Korea, Apple Maps or Naver Map. No starting point or device location is passed, and the app does not use location permission. After the maps app opens, its handling of this information is governed by that app's own privacy policy (Apple's for Apple Maps, NAVER's for Naver Map). If Naver Map is not installed, the app offers to open its App Store page; no place information is passed in that case. Whether a place is in Korea is worked out on your iPhone from the saved coordinates and is not stored or sent.

8. Deleting your data

Settings → Delete My Data deletes in two recorded stages and shows each one separately:

  1. This iPhone: places, visits, photos, go-again choices, saved searches, search history, links waiting to be added from other apps, the weekly reminder and this iPhone's copies of shared collections are deleted from the device.
  2. iCloud (for the Apple Account your data belongs to): collections you own stop being shared and are then deleted with their photos; collections shared with you are left; your personal data in iCloud is deleted. Each step is marked done only after iCloud confirms it. While you are offline or signed in to a different account, the app shows the step as waiting and continues later; nothing is fetched back in the meantime.

Limits: copies others already saved may remain; your other devices keep the places stored on them until you delete them there; purchase records are kept by Apple and RevenueCat (section 5).

You can also delete individual places, visits and photos at any time.

9. How long data is kept

Data on your iPhone and in your iCloud is kept until you delete it. Emails you send us are kept only as long as needed to answer you and as required by law. RevenueCat keeps purchase data as described in section 5.

10. Children

The app is not directed to children under 14. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

11. Your rights and contact

You can view, correct and delete the data you saved directly in the app. For questions, requests about purchase data or any privacy concern, contact us at [email protected]. Privacy officer: Hyungook Yoon, [email protected].

12. Security

Your data is stored within the protections of your device and Apple's iCloud, and is only transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS and iCloud). Location and other metadata are removed from photos before they are stored. We do not run a server that stores your content.

13. Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and its effective date. Changes that widen what is collected will be shown in the app before they apply.
