This Privacy Policy describes how MochiDays ("the App"), developed by FinePocket, handles your information.

1. Information We Collect

MochiDays does not require account creation, has no network connectivity in either the app or its widget extension, and does not collect any personally identifiable information such as your name, email address, or phone number. Nothing you enter ever leaves your device.

All event data you enter is stored only on your device and is never transmitted to FinePocket or to any external server, because the App makes no network calls at all.

1-2. Widget Data Sharing (App Group)

To display your events on the Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets, the App shares event data with its widget extension through an iOS App Group container. This container lives entirely on your device — it is a local mechanism for two parts of the same app to read the same data, and it is never uploaded anywhere.

1-3. Automatically Collected Information

MochiDays does not use any analytics, advertising, or crash-reporting SDKs. No device identifiers, usage events, or diagnostic data are collected by the App or transmitted to FinePocket or any third party.

2. How We Use Your Information

Because no information is collected or transmitted off your device, FinePocket does not use, analyze, or process your data in any way. Your event data is used solely by the App, on your device, to compute D-day countdowns, lunar-to-Gregorian conversions, milestones, and to schedule local notifications and widget content.

3. Third-Party Services

MochiDays does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, crash-reporting, or payment SDKs. The App has no in-app purchases or subscriptions in this version. No data is sold, shared, or transmitted to any third party.

4. Data Retention and Deletion

On-device data: Deleted when you delete an individual event within the App, or entirely when you uninstall the App.
Local notifications: Automatically cancelled when you delete or edit the related event, or when you uninstall the App.
Widget data: Removed automatically when you remove the widget or uninstall the App, as it lives in the same local App Group container.

5. Your Rights

You may exercise the following rights at any time:

Delete data: Delete individual events within the App, or uninstall the App to remove all on-device data at once.
Manage notifications: Turn notifications on or off at any time in Settings > Notifications, or in the App's own Settings screen.

For Users in the European Economic Area (EEA)

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have rights including access, rectification, and erasure of personal data, data portability, and the right to object to processing. Because MochiDays collects no personal data and stores everything only on your device, these rights are fully satisfied by managing or deleting data directly within the App or by uninstalling it. For Users in South Korea

Under the Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA), you have the right to access, correct, delete, and suspend processing of your personal information. As MochiDays does not collect or process personal information on any server, these rights are exercised directly on your device. 6. Children's Privacy

MochiDays does not collect any personal information from anyone, including children under 14, because the App has no accounts, no network connectivity, and stores all data locally on the device. If you have concerns about a child's use of the App, please contact us using the information below.

7. Changes to This Policy

If this Privacy Policy is updated, we will notify you through an in-app notice or app update. In particular, if we ever change the App's data collection scope (for example, by adding a new capability that requires network access), this Policy will be updated first and the change will be reflected in the App Store's Privacy Nutrition Label.
