This Privacy Policy describes how FineNote ("the App"), developed by FinePocket, collects, uses, and protects your information.
FineNote does not require account creation, has no login or sign-up of any kind, and does not collect personally identifiable information such as your name, email, or phone number.
FineNote makes no network calls. It does not include any analytics, advertising, or crash-reporting SDK, so no usage data, device identifiers, or diagnostic logs are collected or transmitted anywhere, automatically or otherwise.

Every note you write is stored only on your device and is never transmitted to FinePocket, to the developer, or to any third party. FineNote has no cloud sync, no server backend, and no account system to sync to.
If you have iCloud Backup or iTunes/Finder local backup enabled on your device, your notes may be included in those backups as part of your device's normal backup process. This is controlled entirely by your iOS device settings, not by FineNote, and is managed under Apple's own privacy terms.
FineNote uses the UserDefaults API solely to remember two small pieces of app state on your device: whether you have dismissed the first-launch information banner, and which note you last had open (so the app can restore it when you return). This usage is declared in the App's Privacy Manifest under the approved reason code CA92.1 and never leaves your device.
Because FineNote collects no information beyond what you type into your own notes, and that content never leaves your device, there is nothing for us to use, analyze, or process on our end. The App exists and functions entirely offline.
FineNote does not integrate any third-party SDK — no analytics, no advertising, no crash reporting, no cloud storage, no networking library. We do not sell, share, or transmit your information to any third party because the App never communicates with any server.

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have additional rights including the right to access, rectify, and erase your personal data, the right to data portability, and the right to object to processing. Because FineNote stores all data locally on your device and processes nothing on our servers, these rights are already fully exercised by using the App's own note management and delete features. Under the Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA), you have the right to access, correct, delete, and suspend processing of your personal information. To exercise these rights, contact us at the email below.
FineNote does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 14. Since the App collects no information from any user regardless of age, no child-specific data is ever gathered. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App in some other way, contact us and we will address it promptly.
If this Privacy Policy is updated — for example, if a future version of the App were to add optional cloud sync or other features that change this data profile — we will notify you through an in-app notice or app update, and any such change affecting data collection would require prior review before release.
