These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of 2048+Korean ("the App"), developed by FinePocket ("we," "us," or "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
2048+Korean is a free, single-player puzzle game that combines the classic 2048 tile-merging mechanic with a ladder of everyday and popular Korean words and expressions, shown with meaning, romanization, and an example sentence as you play.
The App is provided free of charge, with no advertisements, in-app purchases, or subscriptions in this version. The App does not require an account and does not connect to the internet during normal use.
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use the App on Apple devices that you own or control, for your personal, non-commercial use, in accordance with Apple's Usage Rules set out in the App Store Terms of Service.
All rights not expressly granted to you are reserved by us. The App's name, design, word-ladder content, and other materials are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws and may not be copied, modified, or redistributed without our permission.

The App does not allow you to submit, upload, or share content with us or other users. Your gameplay data (score, word collection progress) is stored only on your device, as described in our Privacy Policy. We do not collect, receive, or have access to this data.
The Korean words, meanings, romanizations, and example sentences included in the App are provided for casual, incidental language exposure during gameplay. They are curated for general everyday use and are not a substitute for formal language instruction, and we do not guarantee their accuracy, currency, or suitability for any particular educational purpose. Slang and popular expressions in the word ladder may change in usage or fall out of common use over time; we may update this content in future App updates without notice.
The App, including its software, design, graphics, word-ladder content, and trademarks, is the property of FinePocket or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. 2048+Korean is an independently created game inspired by the general tile-merging puzzle genre; it does not use the name, code, or assets of any other 2048-style game, and no affiliation with any other publisher is implied.
The App is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
We do not warrant that the App will meet your requirements, that any defects will be corrected, or that the word content is complete, accurate, or up to date.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, FinePocket shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the App, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App (which, for the current free version, is zero).
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law, including the laws of the Republic of Korea.
You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it from your device. We may suspend or discontinue the App, or any part of it, at any time, with or without notice, including if you violate these Terms.
We may update the App and these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes to these Terms, we will update the "Effective Date" above and, where appropriate, notify you through an in-app notice or app update. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
Your use of the App is also subject to Apple's applicable terms, including the App Store Terms of Service and the Licensed Application End User License Agreement. In the event of a conflict between these Terms and Apple's terms regarding Apple's role as a platform provider, Apple's terms govern that aspect.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of the Republic of Korea, unless mandatory consumer-protection law in your country of residence provides otherwise.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
